Quick and Easy Peach Hand Pies

Grands biscuits are flattened and folded over the easy peach filling, pinched shut and baked. From getting started to going into the oven to bake, it takes just 10 short minutes to put these hand pies together.

- Grands Jumbo biscuits
- peach pie filling
- cinnamon
- powdered sugar
- milk

Can I Use Homemade Biscuits For These Hand Pies
You can use homemade biscuit dough for these hand pies. Just cut 8 slightly larger biscuits using a 3-inch biscuit cutter to match the size of Grands Biscuits. You can double this biscuit recipe and cut the biscuits to a larger size.
Change up the filling!
Use ANY flavor of pilling you like. Blueberry is awesome, but any flavor works. What’s your favorite? use that!

Peach Hand Pies
Equipment
- baking sheet
Ingredients
- 1 can Grands biscuits or store brand works just find
- 20 ounce peach pie filling you may have some leftover, use it on oatmeal or freeze it for later
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Icing Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tsp milk
Turnovers
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside
- Dump a can of pie filling into a small bowl
- use kitchen scissors to cut the peach slices into small pieces

- Add cinnamon to pie filling and mix until well incorporated

- Set the biscuit dough on the prepared sheet
- Using your finger press out the biscuits rounds until they're about 4 across
- Divide the pie filling to each biscuit, don't add too much, you will have some leftover pie filling

- Fold the biscuits over to make a half circle
- Press sides together with a fork

- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown across the top

- cool slightly
- While the pies are cooling make the icing

- In a small bowl add the powdered sugar and whisk in just enough milk to drizzle
- When the hand pies have cooled to your liking drizzle icing over each turnover
- If you like you can cool them completely before icing, just don't make the icing until you're ready to ice
