What You Need to Make These Biscuits

Luckily, when using Biscuik Baking Mix, you don’t need a lot of ingredients.

Do You Knead Biscuit Dough?

Yes, you read that right way up there; I do, indeed, knead Bisqcuik biscuit dough very lightly. I fold it and flatten it, fold it and flatten it. About 6-8 times, it helps build your layers and, in my opinion, makes a better biscuit.

But do it gently, and don’t over-knead the dough. If you do over-knead biscuit dough, you’ll develop the gluten in the flour and make tough biscuits. So do it lightly. And only a few times.

Got Leftovers?

If you have one or two leftover biscuits simply wrap them up and store them for breakfast the next day. It can be sliced and toasted. Or reheated in the air fryer.

This is now my go-to biscuit for my husband and me. He loves them! I use Jiffy Baking Mix (basically the same at Bisquick, but cheaper here) and I make them scone-style. I pat out one mound/circle, then cut it in 4 wedges and just scoot the wedges about a half inch away from each other. They look like scones, but they’re not sweet. Yummy! Thank you!
