Change It Up!

If you want to make this a lower calorie dinner cut the sauce recipe in half. It will cut the calories in each serving by about 300 calories. It won’t change the flavor of the dish too much and saves a lot of calories.

You can adjust the amount of heat level in the sauce by adding more or less sriracha. If you really like it hot, consider adding red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper to the sauce or the rub.

If you don’t like ANY heat at all, use the bare minimum amount of sriracha in the sauce or leave it out entirely and replace it with sweet chili sauce.

Use A Meat Thermometer

For best results, I recommend an instant-read thermometer to check for doneness. The salmon should flake easily with a fork when it’s done but use a thermometer to be safe. It should read 145°F when it’s cooked through.

The seasoning blend adds a layer of savory depth to the salmon, while the creamy, tangy, and spicy sauce ties everything together beautifully. Marinating the salmon in some of the sauce infuses it with flavor, while air frying ensures a perfectly cooked, flaky texture in just minutes.

With minimal prep and a simple cooking method, this recipe is great for a weeknight dinner or even a casual date night. Pair it with rice or a side salad for a complete meal that feels indulgent but comes together effortlessly. Adjust the spice level to your liking, and you’ll have a dish that’s as versatile as it is delicious.
