Oven Baked Ranch Chicken
Try this Oven Baked Ranch Chicken if you need a new zesty chicken dinner that passes the taste vibe with your non-trash panda husband. I kid you not, when I was trying out this recipe, he literally said, “I can’t believe I like that, and it’s RANCH??”
Yep, it sure is!
It’s as if the ranch powder undergoes some transformation in the oven. The garlic and onion just seem to pop and really stand out. I don’t know what kind of magic is happening, but I like it.
And no, you’re not imagining things; I do have another ranch chicken recipe. But that one is a Creamy Ranch Chicken. That one is a stove-top recipe that’s served over pasta or potatoes.
What if I don’t have boneless, skinless tenderloins?
You can use ANY boneless skinless chicken you happen to have. Just bake it until it reads 165° F on a meat thermometer. The tenderloins cook really fast in just about 15-20 minutes or so. But be sure to cook other bigger, thicker pieces of chicken for longer.
Can I Use Bone-in Chicken?
Yes, you can! Again, you just need to cook any chicken until the internal temperature is 165°. Bone-in and chicken with skin will take longer to cook but will also be juicier and more tender.
What should I serve with this chicken?
The great thing about this baked ranch chicken is that it goes with just about anything! You can serve it with creamy whipped potatoes or a fresh arugula salad. Or make fresh bread like this peasant bread. Really, anything will go with this chicken. Grab a bagged salad and call it good.
If you have leftovers
Store any leftover chicken in an airtight container. We have, use, and love pyrex glass dishes with plastic lids. They make storing leftovers quick and painless.
Try using leftover chicken in this turkey salad instead of the turkey and serve it on a sandwich or on crackers.

Is “ranch powder mix” the seasoning you get from the Hidden Valley Ranch powder? If not, where can I get a recipe for it. Thank you! I’ve been reading your recipes and my mouth is watering. Thank you!

p.s. is there a search function on your site? I’ve not found it.
Yes, you can use ranch powder dressing. I added the search function, for some reason I didn’t have it turned on.
