My promise to you

I won’t waste your time with extemporaneous words, stories, or nonsense. But I HAVE to write a minimum of 300 words because any website that wants to be indexed by Google must have a 300-word post so it will show up in Google. That way, you can find it when/if you search online.

But it won’t be boring and stupid life stories and memories. Only occasional references, so you know I’m human. And the facts. As simple as I can make them.

We’re going to be empty nesters soon, so this is my journal of learning to cook for less than a house with teenage boys because I’ve had a house full of teens for 20 years. I don’t even know how to consider smaller portions. But I’d like to, for my fridge’s sake and our budget’s sake.

And that’s probably enough about me.

Oh, one more thing: I have another site, Little Frugal Homestead, if you’re interested in living simply on a budget, making things for you and your family to use.

What you need to make Donut Bread Pudding

This recipe relies on the fact that at some point in your life, you may have leftover donuts that don’t get immediately inhaled. It is impossible in a house with teens but possible in a small household of one or two.
