Ingredients

  • 1 turkey breast roast with gravy packet
  • Vegetable oil or preferred cooking oil

Instructions

  • Thaw the turkey breast roast in the refrigerator for about 24 hours
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F
  • Open the turkey breast roast over the sink
  • Remove the gravy packet carefully and set it aside
  • Place the roast in a small baking dish
  • Loosen the string netting around the roast without cutting or removing it
  • Pat the roast dry and spray or rub it with oil
  • Place the baking dish in the oven and bake uncovered for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F
  • Rinse the gravy packet, place it in a bowl, and refrigerate until needed
  • When the roast reaches 165°F remove it from the oven
  • Cover the roast loosely with foil and let it rest for 15 minutes
  • Prepare the gravy according to the directions on the packet
  • After resting cut and remove the netting from the roast
  • Slice the turkey and serve with the prepared gravy
