Small Batch Bisquick Biscuits

This recipe makes 4 biscuits if you use a 2 inch biscuit cutter. But you can easily make two larger biscuits or drop biscuits if you prefer.

Equipment

  • baking sheet
  • 2 inch biscuit cutter

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Bisquick baking mix
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 TBSP oil we use light olive oil

Instructions

  • preheat oven to 450°
  • put the baking mix in a bowl
  • add the milk and oil
    Bisquick mix in a bowl.
  • stir to combine
  • gather all the dough together in the bowl
    Biscuit dough in a bowl.
  • lightly dust your counter with a pinch of extra Bisquick
  • lay the dough on the counter and flatten it and fold it over on itself 6-8 times
  • then pat out and cut 3 2-inch biscuits
    3 biscuits cut out of dough for a small batch of biscuits.
  • gather the scraps and push them together, cut one more biscuit
  • lay the biscuits on the baking sheet

  • bake at 450° for 10-12 minutes or until the biscuits are browned and baked through
