In a mixing bowl, whisk together all of the marinade ingredients until combined, add a pinch of red pepper flakes if you want heat in the dish
If your steak isn't sliced, slice it thinly
Add the sliced steak to the marinade mixture and toss until fully coated, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes
Line a 8x10 inch baking sheet with foil and set aside
Preheat the oven to 425°F
Using tongs, add the broccoli to the bowl and toss quickly with the steak and marinade
then use the tongs to transfer the steak and broccoli to the baking sheet
Spoon any remaining marinade over the entire pan.
Bake for 12 to 14 minutes, or until the steak is cooked through.
Switch the oven to broil and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Watch to ensure it does not burn.
Remove from the oven, if using sprinkle with sesame seeds
