This sheet pan beef and broccoli makes dinner easy and flavorful with minimal cleanup. Perfect for a quick, balanced meal that’s ready in no time!

Equipment

  • 8x10 Sheet pan
  • mixing bowl

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb lean steak thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets

Marinade Ingredients

  • 1 TBSP oyster sauce
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 TBSP sesame oil
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • pinch red pepper flakes optional
  • teaspoon sesame seeds optional, topping after cooking

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together all of the marinade ingredients until combined, add a pinch of red pepper flakes if you want heat in the dish
  • If your steak isn't sliced, slice it thinly
  • Add the sliced steak to the marinade mixture and toss until fully coated, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes
  • Line a 8x10 inch baking sheet with foil and set aside
  • Preheat the oven to 425°F
  • Using tongs, add the broccoli to the bowl and toss quickly with the steak and marinade
  • then use the tongs to transfer the steak and broccoli to the baking sheet
  • Spoon any remaining marinade over the entire pan.
  • Bake for 12 to 14 minutes, or until the steak is cooked through.
  • Switch the oven to broil and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Watch to ensure it does not burn.
  • Remove from the oven, if using sprinkle with sesame seeds

Notes

Cook time may vary depending on the thickness of the steak.
