Donut Bread Pudding
When you have leftover donuts, and they’re getting long in the tooth, why not make Donut Bread Pudding?? This simple little recipe is perfect for two, strange since that’s the theme of this blog, right? So make a pot of coffee, make a pan of bread pudding for two and settle in and enjoy!
Every recipe on this site is designed to feed small households. That could be singles cooking for one with planned leftovers. Or couples just getting started and want to get started cooking and baking. Or you’re new empty nesters trying to figure out how to stop cooking so much food.
If you’re cooking for more than one or two, you can easily scale up these recipes by using the toggle on the recipe card. Of course, this will be autogenerated by the recipe card, so always proceed with caution.
My promise to you
I won’t waste your time with extemporaneous words, stories, or nonsense. But I HAVE to write a minimum of 300 words because any website that wants to be indexed by Google must have a 300-word post so it will show up in Google. That way, you can find it when/if you search online.
But it won’t be boring and stupid life stories and memories. Only occasional references, so you know I’m human. And the facts. As simple as I can make them.
We’re going to be empty nesters soon, so this is my journal of learning to cook for less than a house with teenage boys because I’ve had a house full of teens for 20 years. I don’t even know how to consider smaller portions. But I’d like to, for my fridge’s sake and our budget’s sake.
And that’s probably enough about me.
Oh, one more thing: I have another site, Little Frugal Homestead, if you’re interested in living simply on a budget, making things for you and your family to use.
